The International Conference on New Media and Interaction Design (ICNMID 2026) will be held grandly in Changsha, the highland of the integration of Chinese cultural creativity and intelligent manufacturing. This conference focuses on the deep integration of new media technology development and interactive design innovation, aiming to build an interdisciplinary and cutting-edge international academic exchange platform, gathering experts, scholars, designers, technology developers, creative industry representatives, and university teachers and students in the fields of digital media art, user experience design (UX), human-computer interaction (HCI), visual communication, virtual reality (VR/AR/MR), artificial intelligence, information design, film and television communication, and intelligent product development. The conference will conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as immersive media content creation and narrative innovation, intelligent voice and multimodal interaction system design, application of generative AI in new media content production, user behavior research on social platforms and short video ecosystems, interface experience optimization of wearable devices and IoT products, interaction mechanism between virtual idols and digital humans, interactive installation art in urban public spaces, data visualization and dynamic information design, accessible interaction design and inclusive experience, identity construction and social interaction in the metaverse environment, and social participation and cultural dissemination functions of new media art.
